ABOUT CARIÑO COFFEEHOUSE

For Melissa it was the late date nights with her husband, her mobile office for years, a place for business meetings & social gatherings. For Janelle it was finding new spots that had a cozy atmosphere to be able to read a book & was aesthetically designed to take cute pictures for social media.

Together, they set out to create a coffeehouse that blends those worlds: a warm, stylish place that invites people to slow down, connect, and feel at home. The name “Cariño”—which in Spanish means love, affection, and endearment—reflects exactly what they wanted to pour into the space.

At Cariño, you’ll find coffee that celebrates both tradition and creativity, from classic lattes to café de olla infused with authentic Mexican flavors. The food carries that same spirit, with dishes like avocado toast on torta bread, the El Bolillo sandwich, and sincronizadas made with hand-rolled tortillas.

But more than the menu, Cariño is about creating community. It’s about familiar hellos at the counter, conversations that linger, and the shared joy of discovering a place that feels both fresh and familiar.
